Charlie KoonesExecutive Vice President of Reed Television Group

Koones has served as Group Vice President and
Publisher of Variety, and has been responsible for the global business
operations of the Variety franchise including Variety, Daily
Variety, Daily Variety Gotham and Variety.com. Under his leadership, Variety products have become the market leaders in advertising pages, market share and global influence.Marianne Paskowski

Editorial Director, Reed Business Information Television Group

Marianne Paskowski has been the editor-in-chief
and editorial director of Multichannel News for the past 10 years.
Prior to that she had been the New York bureau chief at Electronic Media,
covering broadcast television and supervising the newspaper's cable tv coverage.
Earlier she had been the senior broadcast editor for Marketing & Media
Decisions and associate editor at Adweek. She's a graduate of the
University of Illinois and has also completed Stanford University's advanced
publishing course, geared to electronic publishing.


Harry JessellEditor-in-Chief
Harry Jessell has been with the magazine for over 20 years. As a reporter in the late 1970s and early 1980s, he covered the rise of the cable and satellite industries and the rapid evolution of TV technology.
In 1987, he turned to Washington affairs, reporting on the FCC, Congress
and the federal courts. He was named executive editor in February 1993 and
editor in September 1997. He is a 1976 graduate of Duquesne University in
Pittsburgh. Jessell is based in New York.

PJ BednarskiEditor
Bednarski is the former editor of Electronic Media.
Prior to joining EM in 1994, Bednarski worked at The Chicago Sun Times as
television critic, media business reporter and entertainment editor supervising
arts and entertainment coverage. He started his career as the TV critic
for the Dayton (Ohio) Journal Herald, later moved to the Cincinnati Post
and, in 1982, became one of the two original TV critics for the then-new
USA Today. A native of Cleveland, he is a graduate of Ohio University. P.J.
Bednarski is based in New York.
