Jeff Bewkes wears a big smile these days. Named president/COO of Time Warner a year and a half ago, the 54-year-old with Hollywood good looks presides over a $110 billion empire that includes Internet, publishing, film, broadcasting and, perhaps most important, a cable operation that some would argue is the beating heart of it all.
