Television Network Sales Operations Manager

Location: New York or Seattle, Washington

Position type: Full Time

Salary: DOE

A well-established and innovative advertising software company is looking for an experienced TV Network Ad Sales Operations Manager.  If you are a self motivated strategic thinker and have managed network pricing and traffic operations for Broadcast or Cable Television networks and are up for a new and exciting challenge - then this is the job for you! We are seeking a high-energy and self-starting individual who can hit the ground running. 


Looking for individual with experience in:

•             Responsible for developing all pricing methodology for TV network advertising sales.

•             Creating and managing television network sales operations processes including transactional processing and software sourcing,

•             Strategically and tactically increase transactional ad sales efficiencies from an operational perspective,
•             Teaching all "operational functions" for sales account executives

•             Reinforcing excellence in the planning and schedule maintenance process

•             Lead and manage operational reporting for TV network sales team - including  tracking sales results versus individual objectives, maintaining and reporting sales plans, annual and monthly revenue tracking and reporting, ad hoc reporting, contract processing, and data analytics;

•             Work with ad sales management to develop TV network sales operations strategies and implement transactional solutions for ‘added value' contracts.

•             Identify gaps in sales and operational initiatives and create solutions!

•             Manage and track all steps of sales operational process - from CRM to receipt of cash.

•             Keep current with TV network research and advertising industry to understand target market needs


Skills/Qualifications:

•             Bachelors Degree

•             Proven track-record planning and executing sales operation strategies

•             5+ years experience managing Sales Operations and Pricing for Broadcast or Cable Television Network

•             Experience with either Salesforce.com or other CRM systems a plus

•             Strong TV or Cable network background and understanding required

•             Experience planning large, multi-faceted sales and operations initiatives; ability to develop clear action plans and drive processes with numerous interdependencies

•             Successful track record of working with high-level managers and executives within the organization and with current/potential clients

•             Computer and technical skills; MS Office suite knowledge required

•             Strong problem solving skills, analytical capabilities, and collaboration skills

•             Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

•             Must have extraordinary attention to detail, a commitment to quality and be results driven and customer focused in a very fast-paced and demanding environment
