C-SPAN is seeking one fulltime Engineer to maintain, install and repair a broad range of television program origination and transmission equipment. This person will also serve as lead technical resource to insure sound transmission of signals, perform all transmission related functions including the set-up of complex temporary facilities and to provide leadership when interacting with Producers and Crew Chiefs in troubleshooting, designing and implementing complex technical operations.

Bachelor's degree, technical degree or equivalent with a minimum of five years related work experience required. Demonstrated knowledge of installation, operation, maintenance and repair of television origination and transmission equipment, in-depth knowledge of signal flow and routing, ability to work overtime and lift 40 lbs.
