Opportunity for experienced radio engineer to help maximize the full technical potential of FM stations, AM stations and FM Translators. Responsibilities to include creating coverage maps, analyzing available spectrum by market, and developing strategies to improve station coverage. Proficiency using either VSoft or ComStudy and possessing a good working knowledge of FCC rules and regulations are both required. Personal qualities of successful candidate to include accuracy, reliability, confidentiality, and an ability to produce efficiently with minimal direction. A sense of urgency is critical, and references are required. Choice of working in our Dallas office using our ComStudy and BIA software or working remotely using your software. Initial work level approximately 25-30 hrs./mo. Monthly retainer available. Immediate opening. PE preferred but not required.
