MORNING SHOW CO-HOST

WBAL NEWS RADIO News/Talk WBAL Radio, a 50kw, major market heritage station in Baltimore, MD owned by the Hearst Corporation is seeking an experienced reporter / anchor / writer for a rare opportunity to join our nationally award winning team as Morning Show Co-Host. We are seeking an applicant with a proven track record and strong story-telling skills along with a professional, warm and conversational delivery. Applicants will possess superior anchoring and interviewing skills and top-notch computing skills, including proficiency with ENPS, Adobe Audition and ENCO systems. Must be able to handle all facets of daily show production from making initial contact with guests to anchoring breaking news events. Must have excellent news judgment and the ability to act quickly in emergency situations. Must be comfortable interacting with listeners on-air. Credibility and creativity are a must. Intimate knowledge of Baltimore and surrounding area a plus. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply. EOE.
