CREATIVE SERVICES DIRECTOR

KFMB TV, CBS 8, San Diego's leading local news station, is searching for a Creative Services Director to lead our Creative Services and Community Relations Departments and to create, enhance and implement KFMB's overall branding and promotional efforts. We are seeking a creative, forward thinking and strategic individual with a successful track record of promotional excellence. Experience in local News branding, social media engagement, and the ability to negotiate and place effective outside media is critical to this position. Candidates must also have experience working with Final Cut Pro and a solid working knowledge of Graphics/Art and Community Relations departments. Candidates must be comfortable using multiple media platforms for Station promotion; be able to effectively interface with all Departments within the Station; be capable of creating and managing departmental budgets; and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position requires a minimum of 10 years of broadcast television promotions experience, 5 years as a Creative Services Director.
