DESCRIPTION
KIRO-TV, the Cox owned CBS affiliate in Seattle, seeks a dynamic leader with solid news judgment to oversee all aspects of daily news and digital content. This individual will be responsible for leading an experienced team in the execution of top quality newscasts while growing audience ratings. Qualified applicants will have a proven record with breaking news, investigative and enterprise reporting and the delivery of successful digital products. Will also have demonstrated leadership and skills in recruiting, developing and retaining talent, managing resources, creating and executing research based strategic plans and growing new opportunities in our multi-media environment. Must be able to work well with all station personnel, have at least five years’ experience in newsroom management, and have the focus, drive and will to succeed.
