NBC, MSNBC to Be Exclusive News Providers for MySpace’s Decision ‘08

NBC reached a deal with social-networking site MySpace to be the "exclusive" provider of election news on a new Decision ‘08 subsite. NBC News and MSNBC will supply news and analysis to the site on MySpace's IMPACT public-affairs hub. It will also include an RSS feed, an interactive map, voter-registration information and blogs.

CBS Democratic Debate Canceled

The Democratic presidential debate set to air on CBS April 27 was canceled by the North Carolina Democratic Party. The debate would have been the first for CBS in this election cycle and the first moderated by the team of Katie Couric and Bob Schieffer.

Gemstar-TV Guide, Digeo Reach Patent Deal

Electronic-program-guide giant Gemstar-TV Guide International and DVR supplier Digeo reached a multiyear patent-license agreement and settled outstanding litigation between the two firms, Gemstar-TV Guide announced Monday.
