Supreme Court Agrees to Hear Fleeting-Profanity Case

The Supreme Court agreed to weigh in on fleeting broadcast profanity. The court Monday granted cert (agreed to hear) Fox’s and others’ appeal of a lower-court ruling that the FCCs fleeting-profanity policy was insufficiently justified, arbitrary and capricious.

Dish Network Wants Replay on TiVo Patent Ruling

Satellite-TV operator Dish Network filed a petition Monday asking a federal appeals court to rehear its patent dispute with DVR manufacturer TiVo.

NBC Universal Completes House, Monk Sales
