Kate Bacon grew up on the banks of the Mississippi River, wanting to be Becky Thatcher and write like Mark Twain. Over the years, she turned to TV to keep a roof over her head and Dr. Pepper in the fridge, heading creative service departments for network affiliates south of the Mason-Dixon line. With the purchase of an Apple laptop, she jumped into the world of blogging about TV people and writing for money from Starbucks locations coast to coast.
