Paul Greeley

PAUL GREELEY is Vice-President of Marketing and Promotion at Nexstar Broadcasting which is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Nexstar owns and/or operates 50 local TV stations across the country in medium and small-sized markets. Greeley joined Nexstar in 2004 after a career as a marketing and promotions writer/producer and creative services director in local TV stations in Philadelphia, New Orleans, Orlando, and Ft Myers.
Greeley started his career at New York Communications, an ad agency in Philadelphia, whose clients were mostly TV stations in major markets. He has been a frequent contributor of articles on TV news marketing for the ‘Marketing Matters' section of TVSPY.com, a web site dedicated to TV journalism and its marketing, and also written articles for Graeme Newell's weekly newsletter, Marketing IdeaNet.

Greeley has also moderated the ‘Marketing Matters' Watercooler section since its inception, a site where TV marketing and promotion executives can go for interactive discussion.

Greeley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from West Chester University in Pennsylvania. He has served on the CBS Affiliates Caucus Committee's advertising and promotion board. His work has been honored by CBS's Eye on Excellence Award for Most Creative, and he has three times been a finalist in PROMAX's Gold Medallion Awards.

Greeley and Nexstar Broadcasting were named "Brand Builders of the Year" in 2004 by Broadcasting and Cable and PROMAX and Greeley won a 2006 PROMAX Gold Medallion Award for his work on the local TV Sales campaign for Nexstar.
