R.I.P., Edward Antonitis

September 4, 2007

Our sincere condolences to KRON president/G.M. Mark Antonitis, who lost his father last week. Mark recalls Edward Antonitis as a "proud American"–a former Army Ranger who stormed the beach in Normandy and liked to joke that he single-handedly freed the French–"and regretted it ever since."

Mark says he saw his dad off the way anyone would want to–all the children around, lots and lots of wine, and endless reminiscing.
