Fly on the Wall -- David Beckham at Madeo, Chad Lowe Watching MNF

November 13, 2008
  • David Beckham dined at Madeo in West Hollywood Wednesday night (11/12), according to a Super Fly Correspondent who sent in a tip via Blackberry message and asked to remain anonymous. At the same time, producer Phil Gurin and his agent, William Morris Agency’s John Ferriter, were also spotted dining there together. Our tipster couldn’t tell exactly who Beckham was with but said "it looked like he was with his kid." Coincidentally, I was there for lunch earlier Wednesday with ABC Daytime President Brian Frons for the next installment of the Mel’s Diner interview series.
  • Another anonymous tipster wrote in with this: "So I was at the San Francisco Saloon on Pico by the 405 Monday night (11/10) watching the San Francisco 49ers-Cardinals Monday Night Football game and the place was packed to the rafters. And wandering around seemingly looking for someone he knew for what seemed like a really, really long time was Chad Lowe, as in Rob’s brother and Hilary Swank’s ex. He was walking around for so long you just wanted to finally invite the guy to your table for a beer already. We didn’t."

BE A SUPER FLY CORRESPONDENT, tip us off to where the TV biz eats — industry bigwigs, talent, anybody working in TV in your town — with a note to tellmelsdiner@reedbusiness.com. We’ll keep your Fly on the Wall tips anonymous, just ask.
