Montgomery is not only the state capital of the state of Alabama, but it’s also the home of the winter home of the Wright Brothers Flying School. Yep, those guys who began the flying thing. Bienvenidos to JOSE TOLOSA, who is the new Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for MTV Networks Latin America. He’ll be Miami based and report to SCOTT McBRIDE, who is EVP and COO of MTVNLA. Jose has an MBA from Harvard Biz School and an undergrad degree in Finance and Accounting from Georgetown. A native of Puerto Rico, he’s done a great deal of work on the financial side of things, having held positions with Bear Stearns, the Parthenon Group and Argentina’s Claxson Interactive Group, a multi-media entertainment company based in Buenos Aries. I hear the dollar is very strong in Argentina right now, just in case you’re planning a vacay and want to NOT pay $10 for a cup of coffee, the going rate in London.

Listen to this…a company called FUN. It’s a technology firm and it’s where STEPHEN TUCKER worked before he was named the Chief Financial Officer of Liberty Sports Group, the newly formed subsidiary of Liberty Media Corporation that currently consists of three regional sports network in Denver, Pittsburgh and Seattle. I hope he keeps that FUN business card, just for old times sakes, huh? And FUN it is – they do online and interactive fantasy sports games and such. Wow. He’s a real biz type, having spent part of his career at the Denver office of accounting firm KPMG. Stephen is a grad of Vancouver, BC’s Simon
Fraser U and he’ll be officing in Seattle.
