FOX in Orlando and Austin

Just in time to cover the election…that’s timing.  This Thursday, JACQUIE SOSA takes her co-anchor seat next to JIM VAN FLEET, HEIDI HATCH, TOM JOHNSON and CRIS MARTINEZ on Orlando’s FOX 35 Morning News. Getting up early, early, early isn’t new to Jacquie..she watched the sun come up over central Florida for CBS affil WKMG in O-town for three years before taking time “off” to be a fulltime Mom. Jacquie has also been a reporter and anchor for WPLG in Miami after beginning her career in Terre Haute, IN at WTWO. Great news!

Austin, TX is a great market and is already home to MARK RODMAN, the new President and General Manager of FOX’s KTBC in the Texas capital. Mark’s a double threat man – with backgrounds in sales AND News. After kicking off his career in Ft. Wayne as a producer and reporter at WPTA, he was the consumer reporter at COX’s WFTV in Orlando. His sales background includes Telerep in NYC, WLNE in Providence, RI as well as Salt Lake City’s KTVX where he was in management. He’s been the GSM at KTBC for the last 10 years. Rodman holds sheepskin in the form of a Bachelor of Arts in Semiotics from Brown University and a Master’s Degree in Journalism from Columbia University.
