Up Minnesota way....

Neptune, New Jersey (down by the shore, ergo the Neptune reference) is home to FOX KMSP’s morning producer JAY CHREPTA. The Orangeman from Syracuse made the transition from producing the 6 and 10pm newscasts at Hubbard’s KAAL in Austin, MN to FOX in the Twin Cities this spring, but my foolproof tracking system did me wrong and we’re now just getting around to it. He knows his way around Minneapolis – St. Paul because he’s also worked at WCCO there. He started in the biz as a part-time announcer at WHTG-FM in Eatontown, NJ and has been working ever since. Now, he is happily settled with the wife and kids in Rochester, MN, home of the Mayo Clinic. Congrats on the new gig, Jay! 

Up New York way, congrats go out to TRACI TERRILL, who was promoted to Vice President of VH1’s Editorial, Creative and Consumer Marketing Group. She’ll be calling NIGEL COX-HAGEN, Sr. VP Creative and Consumer Marketing, boss. She’s a Hook ‘em Horns grad of UT Austin and freelanced in the Hill Country before joining VH1 as a Junior Copywriter in 2000. You go, girl!
