Cinco de Mayo news from all over
Cinco de Mayo…shall we celebrate? Sure should. A nice margarita, some nachos – what are you waiting for?
Out Hollywood way, MONA LANDRY has marketing news to share about herself and about Samuels Advertising. Click here for the skinny. And you’ll also find news about the new Creative Services Director of Scripp’s KJRH in Tulsa, too. Meet SAMAMTHA KNOWLTON.
Speaking of Hollywood (and I so love doing so) let’s congratulate MARK ROSS who’s been named Vice President of
Production for CBS Films. Yes, it’s a division of the Eye Corp. Mark comes over from Maguire Entertainment. Before that, he was with The Kennedy/Marshall Company and worked as a creative executive for Marc Shmuger down at Sony. Mark had his people call my people about this.
This is a cool title: Vice President of Channel Insights. It’s the title that TOM MEYER has on his business cards from Horizon Media West Coast’s curious@horizon. The address line will read Los Angeles. Tom’s comes over from Carat where he spent 21 years, most recently as vice president, associate research director, overseeing all research. Great news, Tom.
Galavision Network has a new Senior Vice President and Operating Manager. SEBASTIAN TRUJILLO will take that job starting June 2 and report to JOANNE LYNCY, Senior VP and GM of Galavision. Sebastian has been with Galavision since 1995 when he was a regional rep down in the Southeast. Since then, he’s been busy with different roles, most recently as VP of net sales, SE. The Miami University grad lives in Miami with his family. Not sure if he’ll be relocating. Bet he doesn’t want to leave those palms and tropical temps…
