Finding Lost
I know as well as anyone that Lost’s ratings have steadily declined in the three years that it’s been on the air. Still, it has its rabid fans.
The show comes back for an eight-episode strike-shortened run on Thursday, Jan. 31, at 9 p.m. ET, temporarily taking Grey’s Anatomy’s slot, but that might still feel like a long wait for the truly dedicated.
If so, ABC’s got some treats for you.
First, the seven-disc season three DVD was released on Dec. 11, giving people who couldn’t bear to spend one more minute sitting inside with their families something to do over the holidays. What’s more, ABC.com has all episodes from season 1-3 up and streaming on the Web site — in HD, no less. So you have no excuse to not be up to speed come premiere time.
The network also has put all sorts of trailers, clips and teasers up at ABC.com, many of which are worth checking out. My favorite of this smorgasbord is “Lost 8:15,” an eight-minute-and-15-second sum-up of the first three seasons which is done a little tongue in cheek. It’s almost like Lost’s producers realize how ridiculous – but still compelling – the show’s plotlines have become.
