The View, GH Now Online

Disney-ABC Television Group is giving people one two more reasons to give up their cable and go the broadband-only route. ABC is putting its daytime talker The View and daytime soap General Hospital on its ABC.com online player starting today.

The five most recent episodes of each show will be available on the player, with the most current broadcast of The View available starting at 1 p.m. PT on the day the show airs, and episodes of GH becoming available at 2 a.m. PT on the day after the show airs.

GH fans also can find their fix on the recently redesigned SOAPnet.com via a link to the video player on the site’s General Hospital section. Those long-ago days when people would set their VCRs daily to tape their favorite soap is just a fading memory.
