Emmy's Sarah Palin Fixation
It took only five minutes for Republican VP nominee Sarah Palin to come up during the Primetime Emmys. And backstage it was no different.
After explaining the shot he took at the five reality hosts’ opening non-monologue in his acceptance speech—“I thought we were being punk’d as an audience. I was confused, as I’m sure you were—best-supporting-actor-in-a-comedy winner Jeremy Piven was asked, “What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the words ‘President Palin.’”

If you have not taken the time to research Palin you should. She is no Maverick. The town she was Mayor of was her hometown. Less than 10,000 people. The State of Alaska has less than 700,000 people but what it does have is an abundance of oil, wilderness and animals, for which beyond a shadow of a doubt Palin could care less. Excuse except for the oil, with the pipeline that is not ready to rock and role yet.
Her bounty on killing wolves from planes to increase the kills and in order to collect you had to present the forepaws,was quickly shotdown by the Wilderness Foundation in Alaska. It was illegal and the cruelty that came from it was disgusting. She allowed them to pull mother wolves and their pups from their dens and slaughter them. When discovered she did a cover-up. She allowed the killing of black sows and their cubs something that has never been done. She is ruthless, heartless and cold where suffering of animals is concerned. Don't give me that it is how she grew-up, Pamela Anderson even though thought to be a Bimbo grew-up the same way but took one look at her fathers slaughter house and turned the other way and has become a very active member for humane treatment of animals.
Since time began great thinkers and minds from Aristotle, Einstein and Churchill understood the way a Nation treats it's old, children and animals speaks volumns for their civilization. Piven is another Hollywood idiot. He believes that he knows better than the rest of us who is best for the country. His opinion and many others I can do without. I guess a president who didn't realize until 20 years later that his preacher was a racist would be a better choice. Go Piven! Stick to making movies (fantasy).
