Live-Blogging Current TV’s 1-Year Anniversary

August 1, 2006

11:20AM Segment on Hezbollah 2 Months before the War Broke Out – The documentary talks about how Beirut is building itself up again after the bloody revolution. A lot of the infrastructure was rebuilt but the man who donated money to rebuild was killed in a suicide bombing. People from all walks of life in Beirut support or at least tolerate Hezbollah, whether they are the poorest or those who attend prominent universities. The students agree that the government does a bad job of helping young people get good jobs. Not surprisingly, the Hezbollah official feels that the U.S. and Israel are holding up the peace process.
