Revision3 Stands Up (For Comedy)

Revision3 is known for its tech heavy pop-culture programs, such as Diggnation and Tekzilla, but now the web-video site is branching out into new territory: the stand-up comedy stage.Today the site is launching ROFL- Roll On The Floor Laughing, a weekly series featuring stand-up comedy. Rooftop Comedy is producing the series for Revision3.

The format and structure of ROFL is actually quite brilliant: each 12-15 minute episode will be culled from 20 clubs across the world. Because RooftopComedy will be recording every act every night, each week they will be able to pull the funniest, most timely jokes for use in that week’s episode.

Rather than relying on a host, the show will use the “ROFL Dashboard” which will clue users in to the comic, location and topic at hand.
