Farewell, 'Veronica Mars'
Veronica Mars ended its run last night with a two-hour finale, broken into two episodes with a continuous story line between them. The show had taken a turn this year, so that Veronica as a college freshman was meaner than she’d been in high school, but it was still a good show until the end–campy and funny and with enough pop culture references that it should have kept the CW’s core audience happy.
The show moved away from the multi-episode mystery format this spring, although there was some wrapping up of longstanding plot points at the very end. It was fitting to have the person who ostensibly lost Veronica’s dad his job, which was a large part of the premise of the show, come back and cause him to lose it again at the very last moment. I can’t help but imagine that there were the seeds of a new plotline planted there, but we’ll never know.
The same goes for Veronica’s relationship with Logan, as he seemed to have relapsed into his violent tendencies, which was something that had been brought up in earlier seasons as a concern because of his dad’s history. Again, another story line we’ll never see bear fruit.
Kristen Bell did a superb job playing the smart, sarcastic title character for all three seasons. The writing was usually good, and the dialogue great.
Maybe it’s just my appreciation of Battlestar Galactica references on broadcast TV, or maybe it’s my concern over where certain of my friends will get their wardrobe ideas from, but I’m sad to see the show go. It’s been brassy, and fun to watch, for three eventful seasons.

if they were going to cancell VM they at least needed to tie up the plots and answer the questions they had in the show. I liked the tv series very much and thought it was origonal, witty, funny and realistic. I really wish it was continuing! Please bring her back!! (oh, and she needs to end up with logan- with all the trouble she can get into she needs someone that's a scrapper to get her out of tight spots-I mean, duh! who has she always turned to in the show?)

Like most all good shows must all come to an end but the best thing the Producer of Veronica Mars could have done was created a Season 4 after all in season 3 the way it ended was pathetic they could have done more. If there was a season 4 they could have shown how V.Mars was doing at the FBI & solving crimes that were un-solvable to them & whether she & Logan got back together in the end. But it's like the Producers Don't have anymore imagination. There are shows out there that don't even score an 8.5 that they keep that show but with Veronica Mars her rating was as high as a 9.6 and they cancelled it. So it is my opinion that they cancell all the good shows with high ratings only to introduce other programes with a low score rating. (Crazy) You'd think they'd at least keep the show running thats bringing in more money than that with low score rate. Please Bring Back Veronica Mars. Thank You.

You have to be kidding! I have been waiting for the summer to be over just to see it.. I agree with the comment above why take off the good shows and replace with not good shows...

There is no way that she ended up with Piz, she should so be with Logan its so obvious. That was the lamest ending ever!!! I love this show but that was crap.

I too agree the show should have been given a chance to wrap up all the lose ends - everyone I know watched the show and many people in other countries haven't even had a proper chance to see it and bump up the viewing figures. Lack of foresight on the network's part. A great show - to all cast and crew, well done.

As per the other dedicated fans to Veronica Mars - I am livid, fuming and downright f*cked off. The network needs to go off into a corner and have a good long word with themselves.
Already broken after falling in love with Firefly and having that torn from my life - I fall in love with VM and now that's taken from me????!! Where is the justice?
Whoever is responsible - do try to remove your head from your arse and see that the crap you continue to replace fantastic programs with needs to be burnt. We don't need more pisspoor programs and frankly - I am one step away from cancelling my TV license.

Why Are they cancelling Veronica Mars, i mean why don't they make a 4th Season why do they always take away the best shows & replace them with stupid boring programmes, Veronica Mars is the best tv series ever, it's just as popular as Smallville, Supernatural and heroes But my all time Favourite is Veronica Mars. Where's Kirsten Bell going that they can't make a 4th Season, I mean season 3 ended rather stupid, they could atleat say whether Veronica & Logan get back together. Why Why????
