I found the comments amusing and hilarious!

All we need to remember is, Democrats are insane unhappy people and they live in a child like state dreaming big dreams...with your money. Personally I am willing to set this cycle out and let the ObaMessiah take the cake. New eye contacts may have been the cause of Nancy's over active blinking. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt on that one but I've noticed from the beginning the similarity between her eyes and Hillary's wide-eyed look that's scary. My ex-husband, the psychotic, had the same look just before an attack so I'm quite sensitive to "the look". The person has a phony smile on their face and eyes are opened so wide you can see their ENTIRE EYEBALL!! Watch Hillary. When she greets a crowd her eyeballs almost fall out of her head and Nancy's are the same way. Those girls definitely have a problem that eyedrops won't help.

She looked extremely constipated nearly the entire time she was sitting up there. Maybe she was trying to hold in some flatulence from the enchilada combo platter and the three-cheese omelet with broccoli she ate earlier in the day.

I remember from Intel school that the number of blinks indicates whether someone is being truthful; i.e. much blinking reveals a guilty conscience. But, Pilosi was just listening. Does this signify some kind of intent to distort?

Did anyone pay attention to what the President was saying just before all this eye blinking occured? He first asked for an increase in the US standing armed forces. No response from Pelosi. Then he asked for the creation of a Volunteer Civilian Corp., the old CCC. Pelosi's eyes went wide and then all the eyeblinking started. Maybe people should think about the significance of that request instead of Pelosi's response.

My husband and I both noticed the excessive blinking. We have both been long time contact wearers, don't blink like that, and maybe her publisist is unaware of it but brand new contacts feel very good and wet on your eye compared to old ones.

Anytime I tell someone that I am involved in politics, they are quick to ask, "Are you a Democrat or a Republican?" or "Are you a liberal or a conservative?" Last night I turned on the T.V. to watch the SOTU and I have to admit the very FIRST think I noticed was Nancy's eye's blinking. I have extreme dry eyes and mine don't blink like that. As an ER nurse I would have to say that must come from extreme anxiety or a possible drug side effect. Her whole facial expressions seemed very tense so I doubt it was just from "dry eyes".

Junk story -- one more reason why "the news media" are in contraction, job cuts, etc. I'd recommend this 'reporter' for the next round of layoffs.

The reason why nobody ever comments on what men are wearing is because men always wear the same thing, every day, every season. Women's fashion is varied, men's is not...therefore what women wear is a natural topic of conversation, like the weather. Wrong again and nasty!

I feel Pelosi 's blinking was because she knows she ,personally, is out of her league. Dick Cheney is probably a saint to put up with the liberal hypocrites in congress. I wouldn't have his job,or the President's , for all the money in the world! Just listening to the leftwing media trolling on and on and on with their hatred is enough to turn my stomach.

What the hell was she chewing on? Did she have a piece of gum tucked away inside her cheek like a hamster or was she biting the inside of her gums?

Eye blinks are directly related to thought. Cheney was comfortable and in control. Grandma Nanny-pants was stewing away, coming up with a dozen mental retorts per second, her hatred of the President seething in her fevered, psychopathic marxist snake-brain. Her disgust at not being at the podium herself, the elite San Francsican instead of this little Texas cowboy, was almost too much to control. Or, she had to go potty and her "Depends" were already full.

It wasn't just the eye blinks with Pelosi - was she ever going to finish that mint (or whatever she was sucking on)? She looked like she was permanently puckered.

Once again, on-line readers have to be accutely aware of personal commentary trying to pass itself off as impartial news.

If Cheney was on standby power, Pelosi must have had a short somewhere, because in addition to excessive blinking she displyed a facial tic and some bizzare lip and tongue twitching. I've never seen anything like the fawning over her position that's taking place now. Making such a big deal over a female speaker is a slap in the face to all the women in America that have worked so hard to prove there is no difference between a woman in the workplace and a man in the workplace.

Pelosi is a joke, as well as Hillary and Hussein Obama.

Cheney is no worse then the rest of the participants who kept applauding for themselves. They act as if they had any answers to the issues and that they could actually solve a problem! They all chuckled and applauded the cuts to earmarks in budgets; sure they won’t spend arbitrarily or without disclosure! Energy conservation is about as attainable as health care for all. Not one of the millionaires has any interest in making changes for the people unless they themselves benefit. A very sad state of affairs…

Cheney drew Pelosi offside when he inserted a mint into his mouth following a suppressed cough. He always does that and pulls it off well. When she tried it, it looked awkward - like she got the sour apple flavor . . .

I dont know how other people saw Ms Pelosi, but she looked uneasy, and had something stuck in her teeth. I have never seen anyone work their mouth like she did.

My girlfriend and I found it rather amusing to count the blinks as well. When Cheney would blink, I would yell GO! Then she would count Pelosi's blinks until Cheney blinked again and I yelled STOP! We found the Pelosi:Cheney blink ratio to be about 12:1.

Pelosi looked just like the witch that she is. Did anyone notice the way she drew her lips back and forth over those enormous horse-like teeth? I clocked it at 132 mph. Say what you like about Cheney, but are you Vice-President, Joeeel? You sound like a tree hugging liberal wuss to me.

Pelosi, probably the most obviously fake persona in American politics. She cannot stop blinking, she cannot say two sentences without stuttering and stammering. A few years back when she started doing the democratic responses to the STOU she was absolutely HORRIBLE. Not a public speaker and probably worse as a public figure. Now with more visibility it should be more plainly obvious. Don''''t get me wrong Cheney is just good at behaving in the public eye, doesn''''t mean his policies are any better, but at least the man doesn''''t act like he''''s in a 2nd grade stage play for the first time.

Pelosi was obviously high. No one blinks that much unless they are tweaked.

Has the ability to report or comment on the news sunk to such a low that the only thing they can report or comment on is the number of eye blinks?
