For CNN Headline News, a new face at 9 p.m.?
A little birdie tells us that with Nancy Grace doing so great at eight on CNN Headline News, the network wants to capitalize and is bringing in a new voice for the 9 p.m. hour.
Grace, who has been out rating the flagship network’s Campbell Brown, and on some nights MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann, is followed by the 9 p.m. rebroadcast of CNN’s Lou Dobbs Tonight.
The new personality, likely to be announced this week, is described as someone who is from outside the cable news business, but is well-liked by many and disliked by some. This new hire may even give Larry King something to worry about, says our source. Hmm. Suggestions, please to this blog.

What ever happened to the Walter Cronkite/Chet Huntley/David Brinkley concept for news? Is Jim Lehrer the only survivor? Except for him, the whole cable entourage makes me sick. And even NPR doesn\'t seem to care that it\'s impolite to interrupt someone. Meanwhile an honest presentation of either liberal or conservative views is very hard to come by.

Lou Dobbs showcased a piece of Foxnews in CNN. He belongs in an island of angry white men - Fox News. These guys really make a lot of money for being hateful and I am not sure they really are that hateful because they are also actors in news reporting business.

I used to watch Lou all the time but no more. His show is horrible and disgusting. CNN is going down the tubes period. As for John King I don\'t know how anyone can watch him. He is not a reporter to wishy washy afraid to go after anyone.
