More Project Runway!
February 7, 2008
Hardcore fans of Bravo’s Project Runway – and I know there are a lot of you out there – have two more ways to enjoy the cult hit.
The network has created two original, exclusive Web videos that viewers can watch online anytime. The two events mark the first time that Bravo has put Project Runway spin-offs on the Web, after first trying it with Real Kids of Orange County. That was a spin-off of another popular Bravo show, Real Housewives of Orange County.
Sew Not Over features this season’s cast of 12 designers competing in a challenge to create three looks on a $1,000 budget that fans will then judge online. The winner takes home $10,000. The video goes up on the site on February 21, and runs through March 6.
In The Malan Show, Bravo’s cameras followed season-three fan favorite Malan Breton around for a year, including his recent showing at New York Fashion Week. The results are seven episodes that started posting on January 23. I am definitely not a fashionista, but you can check out everything Malan here.
The two new Web series join an online community that’s already pretty extensive over at BravoTV.com. If you love Project Runway, you could sign on and never leave.
