Why They Strike

Deadline Hollywood Daily’s Nikki Finke had this very interesting post on Monday, which is an email from showrunner Shawn Ryan of both FX’s The Shield and CBS’ The Unit. It’s a pretty stark look into the minds of creators and writers, and offers a lot of insight into why people are picketing and how strongly they feel about it. What it doesn't offer is hope that this thing will end soon and quickly.
