Daily DigVid Review

Hey, it’s Earth Day, something we used to ignore but has now practically become a national holiday thanks to Al Gore. Here are a few cool things happening around the Web in honor of Mother Earth:

On to the news:

NBC and MSNBC will be the exclusive providers of political news on a new MySpace section called Decision ’08 that will be a part of MySpace’s overall IMPACT channel. While MySpace is owned by News Corp./Fox, NBC seems to have learned how to play nice with a rival through its JV Hulu.com.

Sony is launching an online video service through its Playstation 3 video game console, reports the LA Times.  The venture follows two failed attempts by Sony to launch such a service: Movielink and Sony Connect, which Sony shut down in March. The new service’s biggest competitor would be Microsoft's Xbox Live service, which offers more than 4,800 hours of video online and a quarter of that in HD.

Biggest Loser trainer Bob Harper is getting his own online Web series, called 5 Minute Office Workout, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The show will air on MSN.com. MSN and Reveille will produce, making the show one of ten branded short-form Web series created thus far by Reveille.
