March 10, 2008
Happy Monday Morning! Whether you’re digging out from record snow or grabbing your umbrella and a scarf, let’s start the week off on a positive footing. And since it’s Marketing Monday, we want to congratulate a new member of the VP club over at
Warner Brothers…whose work is seen on TV screens, both broadcast and cable, coast to coast. Just

Not that far from Warner’s is
ABC, where
JORI PETERSEN has added to her VP club status as well. USC grad JORI has been named Vice President of Media Relations for ABC Daytime and SOAPNet, adding the alphabet web to her SOAPNet duties. Jori reports to
NICOLE NICHOLS, senior vice president, Entertainment Communications, Disney-ABC Television Group and will work closely with
BRIAN FRONS, president, Daytime, Disney-ABC Television Group. She began with ABC in 1998 as part of the media relations team after working with Bragman Nyman Cafarelli and Marks Vazelakis PR.
S

peaking of weather (first graph people), Houston’s FOX station,
KRIV, has promoted
DR. JIM SIEBERT to Chief Meteorologist. Jim holds degrees from Baylor, University of New Mexico as well as Brigham Young U. While he’ll probably never have record snow to predict, Houston gets a lot of storms and the occasional hurricane. He’s worked in New Mexico at KOB, Nevada at KVBC, as well as Corpus and Waco in Texas. Congrats to ya, Jim!
J.P. HANNAN, CEO of independent media advisory and investment firm, Hannan Ventures, has joined the board of directors of Asian Media Group, LLC- owner of KSCI-TV, Los Angeles and KIKU-TV, Honolulu. Cool!
