Incredible Times We Live In
April 10, 2008

It still amazes me how quickly the world has changed in such a short period of time. When I was a kid, being mobile just meant that you had upgraded to an extra long phone cord. Now here I am writing this blog as I watch my children play in the park at the beach. I just did some writing on a script I’ve been working on, answered my fan mail and caught up on some of my favorite television shows. All of this while never leaving the monkey bars. It’s an incredible world we live in where we are able to communicate and do business from wherever we are. With Verizon and AT&T’s recent announcement of plans to develop a high-speed wireless network that will blanket the nation, the marriage of old media and new media seems inevitable. The initial effects of that marriage are just being realized on our business. Navigating this merger will be no easy feat, but the potential seems to only be bound by the limits of our own imaginations. As with any evolution there are sure to be some growing pains to go along with all that potential. But as I look at my children and try to imagine the future they’ll live in my head begins to swirl. It’s the stuff of old science fiction movies. I’m just glad to be around to experience the revolution.

I love Crosswords but one thing I do not like is how it seems to happen everytime that someone from the back row comes forward to a podiam and the buzzer to end the game sounds immediately - today tha man that won had only said one word - the one answer to bring him forward and then he won. It seems this happens too often and I may just quit watching!! It does not seem fair.
