Fine Living will debut Whatever, Martha!, a new, weekly half-hour series featuring Sirius Satellite Radio talk-show hosts Alexis Stewart (Martha's daughter) and Jennifer Koppelman Hutt (daughter of Charles Koppelman, executive chairman of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia).
The unscripted series will focus on Martha Stewart, “America's foremost lifestyle authority,” while she's in her element.
“This new, unscripted TV format provides a provocative platform for the radio duo to reveal their very colorful, witty and sometimes shocking opinions about Martha Stewart, Martha’s performance, appearance and approach to projects in memorable segments selected from [Emmy Award-winning] program Martha Stewart Living, which premiered 15 years ago,” the Scripps Networks-owned cable channel said in a statement.
"Of course, Martha is in a league of her own when it comes to cooking, crafting, gardening and entertaining,” Fine Living general manager Chad Youngblood said in a statement.
“And at one time or another, I think we've all watched her with a combination of awe and jealousy, and at some point just said, ‘Whatever, Martha!,’” he added: "But now FLN is going to give viewers a very different look at Martha from an insider's perspective they would never otherwise have. The result is great TV that's really fun to watch."
Whatever, Martha! will debut Sept. 16 at 9 p.m. (EST)/6 p.m. (PST).
