By John Eggerton -- Broadcasting & Cable, 4/22/2008 4:54:00 PM

Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) is the winner, at least in terms of total streams of video accessed on the candidates' Web sites in March.

Obama for America

According to Nielsen, Obama had 518,000 unique viewers on his site accessing 828,000 video streams for an average of a whopping 16 minutes per stream.

By contrast, Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) drew 351,000 unique viewers and 551,000 streams, but only an average of 4.8 minutes.

Far behind was Republican candidate John McCain (Ariz.), who claimed only 38,000 unique viewers, 66,000 video streams and only an average of 1.5 minutes per stream.
