NAB Spot Center Doesn’t Have Any DTV-Education Content Yet

The National Association of Broadcasters launched a new Web site, NAB Spot Center, as a clearinghouse for community-service initiatives.
The site provides access to a range of public-service announcements, longer-form programming and downloadable materials on everything from foreclosure prevention to freedom of speech.
Notably absent from the site were any DTV-education PSAs, though there is a link to the DTVanswers.com Web site. NAB spokesman Kristopher Jones said that the initial focus was on third-party PSAs supplied by nonprofits and others. But he added that the NAB may ad DTV PSAs to the site “at a later date.”
The NAB gave convention attendees in Las Vegas a chance to check out the Web site at its Public Service Pavilion there.
