NBC Universal Completes House, Monk Sales
Hour-Long Dramas from Fox, USA Network Cleared in 99% of U.S.

NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution cleared its two hit hour-long dramas -- Fox’s House and USA Network’s Monk -- on TV stations covering 99% of the country, the company said Monday.
Both shows will start airing this fall in weekend broadcast syndication.
House, Fox's highest-rated scripted series, was sold to stations from the Fox, CBS, Tribune, Sinclair Broadcast Group, Clear Channel Communications, Meredith Broadcasting, Media General and Cox Broadcasting groups. Top stations for House in syndication include WNYW-TV New York, KTTV-TV Los Angeles, WFLD-TV Chicago and KPIX-TV San Francisco.
Monk, one of the highest-rated original scripted series in basic-cable history, was sold to stations from NBC, CBS, Fox, Hearst-Argyle Television, Tribune, Fisher Communications, Scripps, Raycom Media, Belo, Post-Newsweek Stations and other leading groups. Monk’s top markets include WNBC-TV New York, KNBC-TV Los Angeles and WFLD-TV Chicago, as well as WPHL-TV Philadelphia, WSBK-TV Boston, KNTV-TV San Francisco and WFAA-TV Dallas.
