Happy Days are coming to a trio of Four Points Media Group stations, as KEYE Austin, Texas; KUSG Salt Lake City; and WTVX West Palm Beach, Fla., are adding vintage-programming network Retro Television Network to their digital channels.
“We’re excited to marry RTN’s ‘Retro TV’ brand to our already well-recognized KUTV ‘Fresh Air’ brand,” KUTV and KUSG vice president and general manager Dave Phillips said. “Our loyal Utah viewers will appreciate our ability to offer fresh and local viewing choices that are both informative and entertaining.”
Four Points executive director Dick Reingold called RTN “fun television that will help us to serve new viewers and advertisers.”
Offering “Prime Time All the Time,” RTN is one of several popular multicast options for stations adding digital channels. Its programs include Hawaii 5-0 and I Love Lucy.
RTN is owned by Equity Media Holdings. Four Points is the media wing of Cerberus Capital.
