Primetime Ratings: 1960s Night on American Idol Tops Tuesday Night
Fox Cruises to Win, Topping Other Four Networks Combined

Two hours of American Idol was two too many for the competition. Fox easily won Tuesday night, 1960s night for the would-be Idols, averaging an 11.2/22 in the 18-49 demo over the two-hour show, according to Nielsen Media Research.
Together, ABC, CBS, NBC and The CW averaged a 7.8 rating/20 share on the night.
NBC was second to Fox with a 3.3/8 thanks to The Biggest Loser, which averaged a 3.8/9 from 9 p.m.-10 p.m. against Idol's second hour.
CBS was third with a 2/5 led by NCIS from 8 p.m.-9 p.m. with a 2.1/5.
ABC could only manage a 1.5/4, with Boston Legal leading the way with a 1.9/5 for last place from 10 p.m.-11 p.m.
The CW was fifth with a 1/3, led by One Tree Hill with a 1.3/3 from 9 p.m.-10 p.m., only two-tenths of a rating point behind ABC in the time period.
