By John Eggerton -- Broadcasting & Cable, 1/31/2008 12:37:00 PM

It was Fox then everyone else again Wednesday night as its one-two punch of American Idol and new game show Moment of Truth put everyone else on the canvass.

Moment of Truth

Fox averaged an 8.9/22 for the night in the 18-49 demo, according to Nielsen Media Research overnight numbers, with Idol averaging a 9.9, down from previous seasons' Wednesday-night performances, while Moment of Truth averaged a 7.8/19, well down from its powerhouse debut of a 10.2/24 the week before.

ABC was second with a 3/8 led by a repeat of the two-hour finale of Lost (3.3/8) from 9 p.m.-11 p.m. as a warm-up to that show's return Thursday night.

NBC was third with a 2.6, led by a new Law & Order at 10 p.m. with a 3.2/9.

CBS was fourth with a 1.9 for an all-repeat lineup led by Criminal Minds with a 2.3/6 from 9 p.m.-10 p.m.

The CW was fifth with a 0.5/1, led by Crowned with a 0.6/2.
