Quincy Newspapers Stations Get Retro Television Network

11 Stations’ Digital Channels to Air Vintage Programs

Retro Television Network will appear on the digital channels of 11 Quincy Newspapers TV stations, bringing the total to 54 stations airing vintage programs like Get Smart and Mission: Impossible via multicast.

“The combination of their primetime hits from yesterday coupled with our local/regional news and programming will be a big hit with our viewers and advertisers,” Quincy Newspapers vice president and chief operating officer Ralph M. Oakley said. “Their network fits well into our stations’ digital strategies.”

The new Quincy affiliates are KWWL Cedar Rapids, Iowa; WKOW Madison, Wis.; WSJV South Bend, Ind.; WVVA Bluefield, W. Va.; KXLT Rochester, Minn.; KTIV Sioux City, Iowa; WREX Rockford, Ill.; WXOW/WQOW La Crosse, Wis.; and WAOW/WYOW Wausau, Wis.

Equity Media Holdings owns RTN, which employs the slogan. “Primetime All the Time.”
