Former Clear Channel Television president and CEO Don Perry is the new vice president and general manager at KPSP Palm Springs, Calif.
Perry started at the CBS affiliate Monday, replacing Bill Evans, who helped to launch the Desert Television station in 2002.
Perry announced his departure from Clear Channel last week, with Craig Millar taking over the TV operations. Clear Channel is in the process of selling its TV stations to Providence Equity Partners.
