Democratic presidential candidate and Illinois Sen. Barack Obama will be the second candidate to participate in the MySpace/MTV presidential-dialogue series.
Being held Oct. 29 at 1:30 p.m. at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the dialogue will be streamed live on MySpace, MTV’s Choose or Lose Web site and MTV Mobile. It will air on MTV at 7 p.m.
MTV News correspondents Gideon Yago and Sway Calloway, as well as Washintonpost.com political reporter Chris Cillizza, will moderate.
As was the case with the last forum, pollsters John McLaughlin and Geoffrey Garin will monitor real-time polling data and take live questions to be submitted to the candidates through MySpaceIM and MTV.com.
The first MTV/MySpace presidential forum, with Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.), was held Sept. 27 in New Hampshire. Since its debut, it has been streamed approximately 350,000 times.
