CBS Gets Real (Networks) for Big Brother 6

By Ken Kerschbaumer -- Broadcasting & Cable, 7/6/2005 1:32:00 PM

Big Brother fans who can’t get enough will once again have a chance to keep an eye on the housemates 24/7 beginning this Thursday.

RealNetworks and CBS will begin the Webcast immediately following the 8 p.m. telecast.

Addicted viewers with too much time on their hands (and $29,99 for the full three months, or $12.99 per month) can access the Webcast day and night through the RealNetworks SuperPass or at the official Big Brother 6 Web site at www.cbs.com.

Four live camera feeds will capture all the action for the Web, while TV production will rely on 47 cameras and 78 microphones, the most ever for Big Brother.

CBS has reserved the right to block or delay the Webcast to “preserve the drama” of the network broadcast.
