Seller: Infinity Broadcasting Corp., New York (Mel Karmazin, CEO; Dan Mason, president; Viacom Inc., majority owner [Karmazin, chairman]); owns/is buying 132 other FMs and 51 other AMs, including WBBM-AM-FM, WSCR(AM) (formerly WMAQ ), WCKG(FM), WJMK(FM), WUSN(FM) and WXRT(FM) Chicago. Viacom owns 39 TVs, including WBBM-TV Chicago. Note: Infinity had to divest an AM in Chicago when it merged into Viacom.
