Sinclair Broadcast Group and Cox Communications reached a four-year deal on retransmission consent. The pact includes nine Sinclair stations reaching some 1.25 million subscribers, including WRLH Richmond, KOKH/KOCB Oklahoma City and WTVZ Norfolk. It includes high-definition programming.

"Our agreement with Cox, which includes mutually acceptable economic arrangements and an exchange of value, again demonstrates the value of broadcast television to alternative delivery systems."
