RTNDA to Honor Sam Donaldson with Paul White Award

Radio-Television News Directors Association Presents Award for ‘Dedication to Our Craft’

Sam Donaldson will receive the Paul White Award from the Radio-Television News Directors Association.

The award, named after CBS' first news director, is for "dedication to our craft, a commitment to service and a passion for excellence,” said the RTNDA's Angie Kucharski, who chaired the selection committee.

Donaldson is the former ABC White House correspondent and Prime Time Live and This Week host who now hosts a digitally delivered political forum, Politics Live.

Donaldson will be honored April 14 at the National Association of Broadcasters/RTNDA convention in Las Vegas.
