Sugar, Sugar: NBC Heavies Up On Women-Targeted Web Sites

NBC Universal is adding a lot of sugar to its online diet.
NBC Universal Digital Media has taken a financial interest in Sugar Publishing, which has 10 young women-targeted lifestyle Web sites including PopSugar, YoungSugar and GiggleSugar.
The Sugar sites and iVillage, the women-targeted site NBCU bought last year, will share content. in addition, NBC's media sales team will handle ad sales for the Sugar sites.
