FX Orders Motorcycle Drama Sons of Anarchy
Series from The Shield Executive Producer Kurt Sutter

FX gave the green light to Sons of Anarchy, a drama from Kurt Sutter, an executive producer for The Shield, which is about to enter its final season on the Fox-owned cable network.
Sons of Anarchy will follow an outlaw motorcycle club as its members protect their town from encroaching developers and unwelcome criminals. The series will also be part family drama, with lead Jax Teller forced to walk a thin line between the lawlessness of the club, led by his stepfather, with the respect he has for his fellow members. Katey Sagal will star as Teller's mother in the series.
"I feel like a full-patch member of Sons of Anarchy, being neck-deep in this project for a year-and-a-half now, so I'm thrilled to get the opportunity to not only explore the outlaw motorcycle world, but to do it with grit and authenticity," Sutter said in a statement. "I have an amazing cast and FX is a perfect fit for this show and my offbeat storytelling sensibility."
FX ordered 13 episodes of the series, which will premiere in September timed to the final season of The Shield.

The word of Anarchy meens not to fallow the law.The show is a just a show .You need more fun time in it . Like ride the M.C. more and have them go to M.C. CAMPING.The less killing would be better. You have lot of mistake in the show. I would like to see one of your making. I have be rideing for about 40,years. I have a Dine, 09. my self.You need to put sadde bags on them. I the lady,s you pick.

I really don't give a crap what everyone else thinks, I am an RN and a biker some of us have good lives and the way this show potrays bikers to me is old school but entertaining. Good job and keep up the good work.

bikers already get harrased by piggies......do we really need to put this show on tv and make our patches a bigger target? and subject to even more harrasment? its sad when you cant even go down the highway without some asshole pullin out of his hiding spot flyin up behind you and running your plates trying to find something.......do any of you have any idea what goes on in the club world?.......enough to make a show about it?
