The Daily Buzz, ACME Communications’syndicated daily morning program, will debut on KPLR St. Louis Sept. 15.

A CW affiliate, KPLR is owned by Tribune.
“We’re excited to bring The Daily Buzz back to St. Louis,” KPLR vice president and general manager Bill Lanesey said. “There really is nothing like it on morning television, and I know viewers will enjoy an alternative way to get their day started.”
KPLR used to air The Daily Buzz around five years ago. The youth-skewing show reaches approximately 50% of U.S. households, including viewers in Dallas, Atlanta and Detroit. The three-hour program airs on 149 stations, including all five of ACME’s CW outlets.
Buzz will feature new branding Sept. 8, the result of a design contest ACME held at Full Sail University in Orlando, Fla. The winning students will appear on the program next week.
KPLR recently announced that it was pushing its network programming from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. and filling that hour with news.
