Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) was on Fox News Channel and MSNBC Monday night. But apparently, more viewers would rather watch the Democratic nominee on Fox News.

Bill O'Reilly and Barack Obama

Bill O'Reilly's interview with Obama on Monday's The O'Reilly Factor at 8 p.m. was watched by 4.57 million viewers (1.14 million in news' target demographic of 25- to 54-year-olds). That's more than double the number of viewers who tuned in to see Keith Olbermann interviewing Obama on MSNBC's Countdown (1.92 million viewers, 607,000 in the demo).

CNN's Election Center, anchored by Campbell Brown, was third in the 8 p.m. hour (1.02 million, 412,000).

Monday's program was the third-highest-rated O'Reilly Factor of the year behind Thursday's program, which featured the first part of O'Reilly's interview with Obama, and last Wednesday's show, which led into Fox News' coverage of the Republican convention and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's speech.

Additionally, Fox News documentary Gov. Palin: American Woman, which aired Saturday at 8 p.m., stands as the network's most-watched primetime documentary ever, averaging 2.73 million viewers with 673,000 in the demo.
