NBC announced Wednesday that its coverage of the 2004 Athens Olympic Games will total 806.5 hours.
That figure more than doubles coverage of the 2000 Games from Sydney, Australia, and more than quadruples coverage of the Atlanta Games in 1996.
NBC will use five networks -- NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, Bravo and Telemundo -- to provide around-the-clock coverage.
The Telemundo coverage represents the first time a non-English-language network will provide exclusive Olympics coverage in the United States.
The planned schedule for the five networks:
\u0007 NBC: 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., 8 p.m. to midnight, 12:35 a.m. to 2 a.m. and "Prime Replay" from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m.
\u0007 MSNBC: 2 a.m. to 4 p.m.
\u0007 CNBC: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
\u0007 Bravo: 9 a.m. to noon, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and midnight to 6 a.m. (MSNBC replay).
\u0007 Telemundo: 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
